As inconsistent as I am, for this album I give my rating based solely on this record and not in relation to the other two works :p

I have the record, I bought it. Just to be clear ...

Yes, and it's a great album. This and Suicidio are must-haves at all costs.

But once we agree on a generic something, right? :D You see humility, I see a total and disarming lack of ideas. For me, those who have been great at some point should reflect on themselves and stop releasing albums if the ideas are lacking.

Live recordings were destructive, but if the live isn't official, it's often recorded very poorly. Get it if it's cheap; I have one that I paid 6 euros for (love like blood, indeed) and at that price, it's acceptable.

But what criticism? I mean, who? I hope it's not that idiot Scaruffi :D
I don't remember any bickering, sorry...

The debut is so wave that we might as well change the concept of wave just to fit it in :) Jokes aside, wave is, from a certain perspective, a branch of punk, especially in England where wave effectively replaced punk from the '80s onward. And metal, at that time, barely existed. I should point out, however, that wave is composed of very different bands; for example, Wire were very punk, Ultravox very electronic, Television very psych/sixties, Tuxedomoon very jazz - but beyond that, it's very, very difficult for a "forefather" of a genre to emerge just a year after the "official" end of that genre itself, much easier for it to appear at the beginning. Night Time is from '84, the self-titled album is from '80 :) Night Time is just a nice album, the self-titled has influenced an endless generation of artists. Night Time was widely listened to and "copied," but by the second wave of wavers in the '90s, not back in the day when it stood alongside equally excellent albums (like Echo & The Bunnymen) but not as seminal as the self-titled.

The latest from KJ is rather mediocre; they've turned towards an industrial sound that honestly doesn’t stir much emotion. The "manifesto della wave" is their debut, along with its hit "requiem" and "the wait," which I heard around clubs until the end of the '80s. Definitely not "wave americana," as KJ are English, and they are the forefathers of the English wave along with Wire, Stranglers, Joy Division, and a few others. This is a nice album, but the debut is a whole different story. Live, they were destructive, at least from what I experienced.

Look, the way I interpret "presa per il culo" is not negative at all, on the contrary.
