Ridley Scott Blade Runner
Voto:
In fact, we could talk about "Blade Runner" for weeks... what I emphasize when I'm brought into this film is the substantial difference with the book where Deckard is an even better-defined protagonist. Moreover, Scott completely overlooked the factor of religion, one of the central themes of the book. On the other hand, he managed to exalt the figure of Roy, portrayed in the film far better than Deckard in my opinion, an artificial being who wants something he cannot have, being a machine: life.

You will forgive my obvious disagreement, but you are really exaggerating here. 1 Why is it a blockbuster? Because it's a meticulously crafted colossal? Well, you know what I say, if all blockbusters were like this, I would say Hurray for blockbusters!

Dark Tranquillity Fiction (Promo)

Hi.. Dark Tranquility is one of my favorite bands.. I've only listened to their latest work once and I don't want to give an opinion that I might later regret after a more in-depth analysis.. The only thing I allow myself to express is the musical variety of which you talk extensively: you are right in saying that DT have so many ideas that they prefer to express them in a fairly simple song form, already widely tested.. well, in my opinion, this can be seen as a flaw.. after all, having to deal with the same musical lines all the time isn't very pleasing.. it's true that bands tend to repeat themselves, but here, in my opinion, DT have gone a bit overboard.. without detracting from the genuine quality of their work.. but maybe I'm just too attached to "Haven" and "The Gallery."
Peter Jackson The Lord Of The Rings
Voto:
This film is one that you either love or hate; I don't think there's any middle ground. Personally, I watched the first part, then read the book, which I finished between the second and third episodes. In my opinion, the two worlds—film and the written work—are very distant; the latter is an indisputable (in my humble opinion) masterpiece, absolutely not slow as the film may seem. Let's say that Jackson effectively captured the atmospheres and epic landscapes of the book, though he fell short on the depth of some characters (see Legolas, as noted by psychopompe). Nevertheless, it is still a well-made film that unfortunately omits some episodes and characters from the book (Bombadil above all, but also some secondary characters that open onto a broader, more diverse world). However, rendering Tolkien's work 100% on film would have been an impossible task, as I've heard that at first some proposed to Jackson to concentrate everything into a single episode: it would have resulted in a complete mess, completely distorting the book. For those who have read the book, who wasn't moved when seeing the descent into Moria on screen, Gandalf's fight with the Balrog (in this regard, perhaps the first episode is certainly the most successful), the magical forest of the elves, the race to save the hobbits, the battle at Helm's Deep, Frodo and Sam lost in the desolate lands, and so many other episodes that I can't remember right now? My rating takes the book into account as well.
Angra Aurora Consurgens
Voto:
I absolutely agree with Fidia and Ocram.. they wanted to change the sound to fit Falaschi's original vocal tendencies, who, so to speak, "strained" to sing in the style of Matos.. the result is melodic lines that don’t resonate, almost non-existent solos, and the strong point of Angra, which is the classic power choruses... where are they? In short, if these are Angra, I dare to say they are the worst ever.. good review that unfortunately I don't share..
