I've written "in my opinion" twice... I apologize for the repetition.

A nice album, in my opinion indicative of the Beatles' growth in songwriting. The best song for me is "Money (That's What I Want)," a spectacular cover of Berry Gordy in its pure rock'n'roll essence. Also lovely is "All I've Got To Do," a typical Lennon ballad.

Thanks for the positive comments from giov, onlyclever, and kobe, but lewis tollani didn't understand that the tribute to the tragedy songs is limited to "baby's in black" (Ian Mc Donald said). See you soon!
Giorgio Gaber Io non mi sento italiano
Voto:
I haven't listened to the album, but the character is one of those you’ll forever miss for the clarity and wisdom he radiated. In my opinion, his masterpiece is "Io se fossi Dio" (censored version)... fiercely honest.

Beautiful review, maybe not as passionate as it would have suited such a special and moving album... "Six o'clock in the morning, you're the last to hear the warning, you've been tryin' to throw your arms around the world"... Anyway, THE EDGE was me.
The Beatles Let It Be
Voto:
"Many times I've been alone, and many times I've cried, anyway you'll never know the many ways I've tried" to connect back to zzz etc. etc. a beautiful album even if not exceptional and made of leftovers. Still, even "Abbey Road," though magnificent, is a collection of solo songs recorded by the Fab Four in captivity, each indifferent to the other. Great Lucio Mazzi.
The Beatles Help!
Voto:
Well-crafted review even though it's too focused on "Yesterday" (whose original opening was "Scrambled eggs, oh my baby how I love your legs," as Ian McDonald would say). It's also worth mentioning the enjoyable "You're Going To Lose That Girl," featuring a compelling performance by Lennon.
The Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Voto:
A masterpiece album, in my opinion inferior to "Revolver" but with a superior spiritual connection between the songs. The symbol of an era, regardless of what Scaruffi says.
The Beatles Rubber Soul
Voto:
A beautiful album with great reviews. However, the solo in "In My Life" was played by George Martin at half speed on an electric piano, not on a grand piano.

Thank you Copernicus... Punisher is always Punisher and in the end he also has a bit of a point anyway I tried.
