I just wanted to say that "Helter Skelter" is a disjointed fake hard rock piece inspired by McCartney from what The Who and Cream were doing... by the way, the other three Beatles almost refused to play it. "I got blisters on my fingers!" was the phrase Lennon uttered at the end of the song. Snubbed even by themselves... I wouldn't exactly call it a masterpiece!

In my opinion, this record is not the masterpiece that everyone considers it to be. Certainly a great album, but already showing signs of a divide among the four from Liverpool. "Helter Skelter" is a pale copy of Cream and The Who. "I got blisters on my fingers!"
