Hi Ozzy, I'm back after a long time... so the review is as beautiful as usual. You're overrating the record; it's nice for sure, but it's a band that has done much better (Arcane Rain Fell). There are a few too many flaws here, for example, the excessive omnipresence of the female voice.

A great return for Paradise Lost... frankly, the albums that truly cater to the market seem to be quite different in the Gothic Metal scene. A well-made review, but perhaps a bit unfair in that regard. I find the album to be very intense, and it is undoubtedly the best thing the PL have done since 1995 (Draconian Times). A band that was incredibly bold in the past has now tried to play it safer... and in their field, they remain among the absolute best.

The clarity has significantly increased...but the growl is still very much present. Overall, I think it's far superior to "Ghosts Of Loss"; there's more variety here, and up until the 4th song, it's almost perfect...maybe it weakens a bit afterward, but I recommend it.

The review isn’t bad but a bit biased… I mean, the story about the dark kids proving that this band isn’t commercial is a big load of nonsense… you know how many girls just out of middle school dress up as dark girls just to imitate their idols? The fact remains that the latest album is extremely commercial… that doesn’t take away from the fact that it makes quite an impression. Don’t say that My Dying Bride are gothic because that’s just not true…

Of course I was being ironic about the lynching hehe hehe. Honestly, to be honest, I'm not crazy about "Mother Earth" either; I find them to be a bit overrated overall.
