Thank you, folks, I have to say it's my retrograde album of the year.

I remember the crazy duo Hatori/Honda really shining on the Butter 08 album, great times...

Look, like a good old fool, I didn't even realize you'd already talked about the Pinguini. I was about to send the review, can you believe how silly I am? What a great album these guys have, "dettato" kills me every time! This is the best Italian album of recent years for me!
The Smashing Pumpkins Adore
Voto:
Fantastic, we will never agree, I prefer Gish and Siamese Dream to Mellon Collie, Transmission is better than Soft Bulletin, but it pales in comparison to the first 4 albums by the Flaming, I prefer the first two Floyd albums to Dark Side. Adore I think that listening to it again wouldn’t be as terrible as the later things, but at the time Corgan & co. were already dead and buried for me.

lost by a narrow margin the day before in Bologna at the Estragon, but I believe that a theater is the best setting to experience them. Anyway, the concert in Bologna was broadcast by Rai Stereo Due.

Reigning Sound Abdication... For Your Love

I was listening to it this morning after your suggestion; as soon as I digest it, I'll give it another go. Did you see that Jack Oblivian's new record came out? It doesn't seem like much to me.
The Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream

The legendary '80s????? What are you talking about!!! The best of the Smashing, along with the Fish Iscariot (and Gish, of course), before Mellon and his last-minute fans went downhill. By the way, this month the deluxe editions of this and Gish are coming out: The Official Smashing Pumpkins
The Holy Modal Rounders Indian War Whoop
Voto:
It seemed like a duplicate to me... and in fact, I remembered correctly, it had been done by the now deceased (along with his reviews) user enrybaxxx, with whom I engaged in a sterile debate about the Holy Modal. It has been years since I last listened to them, but Indian War Whoop, compared to stuff like USA, Fifty Foot Hose, Red Crayola, and various unknown oddities from the 60s, is not a masterpiece, for me. Maybe in 10 years I'll change my mind, leave my wife and daughter, eat kilos of psilocybin, and move to live naked in Barbagia, evangelizing sheep and shepherds about the Modal cult, but for now, no.
