I don't know Wyatt's solo works... I'm curious. I ask everyone who knows him: what is his best album? At the moment I'm trying to get the reissues of the solo albums of another Soft Machine member: Kevin Ayers. Maybe soon I'll review the first two Soft Machine albums... but I think they're too challenging for me to review...

There’s also Salvia divinorum, folks... but I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone... very strong, it caused me the only sentient hallucinations of my life, nothing like trips and psilocybe... another planet!

Wait a moment... the meaning is a bit different, at least as far as I know... it refers to the fact that due to superstition (it brings bad luck), many skyscrapers don’t have a thirteenth floor... so an "elevator to the thirteenth floor," or to a floor that exists outside of reality, a non-floor... at least that’s what I’ve read. If it’s true, it’s a bit freaky... but what about the Doors? Bye.

Thank you for the appreciation shown! The music isn't as mind-blowing as the artwork, Hal... no backward guitars or stuff like that, nor interstellar overdrive rides... it's an album that might leave you disappointed at first listen... but the electric jug will blow your mind after a while... let's say the 5 is given more for the historical value of the work than for its psychedelic nature. I was also in doubt: on the back cover of the CD of Sunspots that I have (which should be a reproduction of the back of the LP from that time) it says Rocky Ericson, but inside it says Rocky Erickson... who knows how it's really spelled... anyway, he was named Roger Maynard (?) Eric(K)con. At the moment, he should be living with his mom in Texas. Better than in a mental asylum!
