Last year's moldy record, bought on vinyl as well, but it can't compare to Hisingen Blues. Endless Night rocks!

it was my fetish record in '96, a time when at university we would go to great lengths to find records by Masonna, Merzbow, Hanatarashii, and gerogerigegege. In hindsight, I don't think I could ever listen to them again.

beautiful one of his that I prefer. American Psycho remains one of my favorite books (but also Foster Wallace always in my heart).

interesting this. I The Heads seem a bit loose, Allen solo here and the singer with the Kandodo project (a drone thing that’s a bit too narcoleptic, check it out it was released by Thrill Jockey if I'm not mistaken)

I imagine you were referring to my comment, Lao. I reiterate that it embodies everything I hate, especially the aesthetic of the '80s. Unfortunately, I don't know your age; I’m 37 (you seem to be older) and I’m among those who were too young in the '80s to be able to select the good things (especially musically) and already too old to have excessively nostalgic memories of the period (musical and otherwise, think Kiss Me Licia). Yes, it really disgusts me ALSO for this reason. Honestly, I don’t love the rehabilitation of trash, from any era (it started with the '70s, and now we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel of the '80s, which has an overwhelming amount of stuff), because I don’t believe that time and the nostalgic veil should obscure critical analysis. I don’t have anything against the reviewer; I get the playful approach, but often, in other articles I’ve read (not here), I notice that play and humor are often used to mask a real appreciation and an attempt to inscribe certain unimaginable rubbish into the culture that "matters." Just think about what they are trying to do on sites like Ondarock and similar ones with the 883...

I don't know, I like all three of them (bought in the triple edition last year), and I regret not having listened to them earlier; I imagined them to be very different.

Well, theoretically my album of the year for all the musical coordinates it touches, but instead it left me with nothing. I try to listen to it often, but there’s not a single song or atmosphere that stuck in my mind. If it had come out 10 years ago it might have been different; I have another 10 bands doing similar stuff, I suffer from an overexposure to Spacemen 3-like stuff. Anyway, yes, they also remind me of a more bombastic version of the early Wooden Shjips.

Sorry, but I can't find anything brilliant in this crap. It’s inspired by some garbage cartoon, features Cristina D'Avena (who ruined all the themes of Japanese cartoons from '84 onwards), and embodies everything I can't stand about the '80s both socially and aesthetically. And it doesn’t even make me nostalgic; I hated it even when it was aired. Thumbs down.
Guillermo Del Toro Pacific Rim

Oh, you're taking it apart, but it stank of total crap even with Del Toro involved. However, it’s also my wet dream to see an Evangelion meets Cthulhu meets Godzilla. And I agree that Transformers is a horrible movie, the most chaotic and annoying battle scenes I’ve ever seen. And come on, how does one get to the point of being bored during fight scenes? I imagine it runs like all the blockbusters from the last 15 years, that is, senselessly over 2h and 30 min.

I was looking for these a few months ago! In fact, since we chew on the same psychedelic 60's vibes, have you heard the Telstar Drone stuff on Bad Afro, Elephant Stone, and Holy Wave? All albums I’d love to check out but can’t find around.
