Electric Würms Musik, die Schwer zu Twerk

I don't know, it left me a bit perplexed; even though it's short, it was rather hard to digest while listening... it reminds me of Embryonic. The title is the usual stroke of genius.

beautiful review, I’ve been looking for this for a while but I couldn’t even download it, let alone buy it. Tuareg is in the compilation Tropicalia. I'm off in search!

Reviewed at the beginning of summer, but who has time to publish anything anymore? Anyway, it's well above what I expected; plus, I've never been a huge fan of the White Stripes, but this is a damn good record, somewhat mainstream. I mean, not a comma is out of place, it’s ultra diverse (maybe even too much), it's the right length, and it has very few dull moments. In short, for someone I thought was done since 2003, it's not bad. Among the top 10 of the year for me.
Haruki Murakami Kafka Sulla Spiaggia

I'm starting to feel like picking up Murakami again; Norwegian Wood (or Tokyo Blues, as we all read it) was a coming-of-age book in the early '90s and made me want to study Japanese (along with Mai Dire Banzai, which might be the biggest influence). During university, I read A Wild Sheep Chase (one of the few translated besides Tokyo Blues) and little else. The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle... I've had it started for about 10 years, but everyone raved about it. What year is this Kafka from? Honestly, I no longer follow his works, but I remember that my favorite aspect was the delirious dreamlike side, like Hard Boiled Wonderland and The Elephant Vanishes, which I believe was finally translated a while ago, right? I still remember a couple of stories from that book, even though I read them in English.
Mick Farren Live in Koenji UFO Club (25-11-2004)
Voto:
Well, considering how he was back then, 10 (?!) years ago when I saw him, I would have thought he was dead a long time ago. Anyway, at least for his past, a great. On YouTube, there should also be his appearance on the English TV where he occupied the studio along with other phenomena from the UFO orbit club.

Ugh, I even have to remove the cobwebs from the keyboard and reintroduce myself after months, just to figure one thing out: the review is, as stated in the beginning, "semiseria", right?

I keep my distance from it; I had a feeling of what they might be, and you confirm it for me. We are the same age, but I’ve never managed to have any fascination for the '80s; on the contrary, I have terrible memories of it (especially the clothing and the fake cheerful aura of TV and similar things), and beautiful albums aren’t made with nostalgia.
Horrors Luminous

I can't stand them for the same reasons you like them. First, we imitate the Music Machine in a horror teenage version, then everyone jumps on the kraut revival bandwagon (even if it's already past due, but in the UK they always catch on to these trends late), then they attempt a pop breakthrough. This Muminous has some decent tracks (the kraut ones), like primary colours, but if I have to listen to these fake kids who are as genuine as a 1999 doubloon, I’ll pull out any kraut-related album I have and spare myself their crap faces.
Linda Perhacs The Soul of All Natural Things
Voto:
The beginning is completely the opposite of what I think, especially that the enjoyment of music before the mp3 was superficial compared to now. One cannot generalize; I listen to music that I don’t have "physically" well and deluxe vinyl poorly (and vice versa), the difference is made by the listener and not the medium. But, if we have to talk in stereotypes, it seems much more likely to listen to a file distractedly than a vinyl (already often just the act of putting it on requires a minimum of concentration). I’ve heard Perhacs but “distractedly,” maybe because I downloaded the album...

I was also recommended it last year. I was about to take it off after the laughs I had during the mall scene, but especially afterwards. And then damn those limos that talk like they’re in a crazy Beetle. Oh, I may have been poetically challenged forever, but I still consider it a remarkable piece of crap.
