Well, just for having talked about it and having heard it, a nice 10. What can I say, the fetish group of Japanoizu, I remember the difficulty of finding these or the Gerogerigegege in the mid-90s. And kudos to the book that here (much earlier than in certain countries where it was fully discussed) sparked the underground interest in the scene, namely Sol Mutante. I happened to talk for a couple of hours about this scene with Ben Chasny (aka Six Organs Of Admittance) last year, and basically now in the California psychedelic crew there are some incredibly cult bands. If I’m not mistaken, it was precisely the Hanata who made the audience sign a waiver before concerts where they dissociated themselves from any possible physical harm suffered by the audience.

I think it’s going to remain album of the year, undeniably.

What is it that you no longer drink around your way, barracuda? Since I work in the beverage industry, I'm curious :)...

Thank you guys, I occasionally sneak a peek here, but I have less and less time. Then, it’s absurd and almost wrong to say it, I republished driven by the events at the Bataclan (where I ended up in the late '90s but not for a concert). I know, it’s not the right time to talk about music in these circumstances, but instead, I felt a huge rage building up and the only way I found to vent it was by publishing something…

Look, I don’t love this type of revival either, but Stoneking blew me away after just a few listens. It was my album of 2014, to give you an idea of how much I felt it and still feel it now.

Give it a chance, for me it's a small masterpiece. By far the best thing I've heard this year.

Damn, I knew it was out but I can't find it anywhere. Master Sleeps, which I wrote about 4 years ago, was quite nice; how does this compare?

Damn this J&MC thing, you even brought me back from the other side! The band that most closely resembles the sound that constantly wanders in my head. For years, they were my favorite, but recently Sound of Confusion has knocked them off the podium.

I may be late, but I’m here, right? Beautiful review, what can I say? I’ve never loved Slayer, even during the metal boom of the early '90s, their Nazi sympathies repelled me. BUT I could use some good old headbanging to fight the stress of life. And you’ve made me want to publish something again, dear Bartolo.

I understand I have to send my review....the album was a clear flop, and the promise was kept. Too bad because Innerspeaker was really a great album, you couldn't say the same about the next one. The basic problem is age-related. For Parker these sounds are vintage, for someone like me who lived through certain '80s, they're simply the devil.
