Anyway guys, for me it's a great album, we'll see how it performs live, but for now it's been in heavy rotation at home since July.

Oh, after years of advice I've started to listen to them... and they are amazing, better than I expected! Must-have this and the chemical wedding. I also got the latest one, but this is better for now. Chapeau!

To sum it up: Flying Microtonal Banana is currently among their best work. I also really like Paper Machè Dream Balloon, and the latest Sketches. For the next one, they've just released the usual 10-minute nonsense promo video; I'll post it if I remember. Anyway, king of cazzons these guys are.

I hadn't reviewed it over a month ago, and I also reviewed Master back in June, around that time. Ah, don't worry, go ahead and do them, and also the new Ohsees one. Anyway, great album, with a jazz structure (the Mild High Club albums are quite similar to this Sketches, though), featuring lounge, psychedelic, ethiopian vibes (Tezeta sounds like something from Mulatu Astatke) and a fantastic track like The Book. And finally, Stu is back to playing the flute.

I was looking for them, but the single's song on YouTube left me a bit puzzled, I'll look for it later and post it so you understand.

Oh, you're just going to take it from me like that? 😁 Yesterday I didn't feel like posting four because then you'd have beaten me up. Then I read it, but what a great album, and truly believable even while venturing into almost unknown territory for them.

as ugly as the cover is, as beautiful is the album. Which I have never bought, well done, you reminded me to do it as soon as possible!

Well done Sotomayor, you beat me to it; I was planning to publish it. Great album, it continues to remind me of various phases of The Flaming Lips as I mentioned in the review of the first album. "Blue Cloud" is a beautiful track!

Well done for filling the gap, I had promised myself to publish it, I reviewed it last year. Great album, completely different from his previous work, and even better in the end. I don't quite agree with the comparison to Cyndi Lauper or Boy George, but the important thing is that it’s enjoyable.

When I lived in Tokyo, I remember that an Only Japan box set of the bronze ballet literally sold out. I also remember the rants I got from the Japanese prog maniacs as soon as they found out I was Italian. And there I was, explaining to them that I didn't listen to Italian music :))
