I'm not surprised, of course, always brilliant musicians, but the magic has been lost since Hot Rail. What disappoints me the most is that they've become a drag live, attracting an audience that expects salsa-like tunes or Cuban dance music at their concerts. Damn, the imagery was something else, the music conveyed something entirely different. I get it, you have to make a living. But I'll keep my money, just like I hold on to the memories of a terrifying concert at the Vidia in Cesena, exactly 17 years ago in February.

An important slice of my adolescence, and one of my favorite albums from Corgan and the crew. It’s a shame that already on Mellon Collie Corgan’s excessive self-confidence started to make its presence felt. I also feel that there’s very little of the Replacements and J&MC in it; to tell the truth, it was only years later, when the ’80s revival began everywhere, that I started reading about references to music that I believe is completely detached from The Smashing. What really makes me laugh is that other contemporary bands, and those with a more metal sound, are regarded very poorly by much of the criticism and even by many listeners.

I hadn't recognized the cover, post-graduation reading. I agree with the score; definitely not very interesting as stories, even for a Japanophile like me. However, I honestly disagree with what you write about the evolution of Japanese S/F. While it may not be a heavily trodden genre in literature, it is very vibrant in both animated films and comics, with themes that have also influenced Western imagination. I essentially wrote a thesis on Japanese science fiction imagery.

But don't worry, Sotto, I write reviews for a fanzine monthly anyway, then I publish the ones that are still missing from the database. The 5 seems like a mix between sketches and more psych stuff. Anyway, I participated in the Kickstarter campaign for this and I need to order the vinyl (they're making a thousand versions).

I was getting to it soon; what can I say, in my opinion, if it had come out earlier, it would have been their best album, but it still competes with the Banana as the best of the year. They even managed to make a video where they don't appear

I just reviewed the 2005 compilation this is it. What can I say, the true panther of funk. And let’s not forget the credit for introducing Hendrix to Miles during that year and a half they spent together. Basically, it’s thanks to her that Davis made the psychedelic fusion breakthrough. Far from the R&B divas of today that critics try to equate with the funk/soul singers of the past.

The only one I'm missing. Last super cool guy, I need to write a couple of lines soon for a print magazine. And even the 5 looks like something halfway between Sketches and the flying microtonal band.

Wow, what a comeback! This could be my cup of tea. Who are they recording for?

Well, yes, dub is psychedelia, no doubt about it. Unfortunately, apart from remixes and Lee Scratch Perry, I don't know much, but the dub tracks by The Clash have always been my favorite Clash songs.
