less heavy album, more strictly prog, a partial return to the atmospheres of stupid dream and lightbulb sun...I think it’s gorgeous, maybe a masterpiece, in my opinion better than the last two studio albums yes, but the porcupines have never disappointed me, and I love their metal incursions a hell of a lot!! XD

I finally bought it, since it was the only one of the sunn along with 00void that I hadn't listened to yet... well, what can I say: it's much harder than the others, much darker than the others... more instinctive, more black metal at heart... they are geniuses, and it was already clear back in 1998, the release date of this cd...!!

aha...great review...congratulations sfascia !! :)...anyway, I obviously have the original CD...a harsh blow to the teeth, to the brain, and to the whole body, and to the wall in front of the speakers, of course!! :)
