Well… divodark… as my colleague styx said… I also don't recommend you retracing the path… you need to start from the beginning, from the dawn… from that opiate that laid the foundations for their sound as we know it now… the journey must be taken, to be fully understood, step by step… without haste, indeed giving utmost interest to every piece… only then will you be able to enter the soul of one of the most beautiful and debated realities existing on earth!!!! Bye bye

Yes... you can say that an album is horrible, but not on an album by Tool or at this level... these are albums that need to be understood and internalized... at most, you can say I don't understand it... I can't connect with its soul!! But not that it's horrible... not everyone has ears that are predisposed to this type of extremely cerebral music... got it?? Don't say it's horrible anymore... just say: I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT!!

Yes...maybe you're right about the rush to post first impressions after the first listens...anyway...I still believe that to be fully understood, you need hundreds of listens, as you know too!! Anyway...I'm slowly finding myself in the dark and tribal tunnel that this album creates...I don't know why, but I consider it on the same level as Lateralus and Aenima...call me crazy, but I have this idea...it has the power of Undertow and the sick atmosphere of Aenima...along with the technique and the exaggerated tribalism of Lateralus...all combined with a dose of mantra-like spiritual ascendance that the band hasn't explored until now...and yes...you travel with this album...you soar and you plunge...you rise, you sway, accompanied by the voice of the great Maynard like never before!!!! I don’t know about you, but I also see a certain technicality reminiscent of Meshuggah in the structure of the songs...what do you think??? Something like in Jambi...hmmm.

In my opinion, Vicarious and Jambi are on par with the two songs from Lateralus that you mentioned... but anyway... I agree with the idea of screaming them at the top of your lungs from under the stage if they don't play them in Rome... such an incredible album anyway... it grows exponentially with each listen... a preface before writing that it's not as good as Lateralus... listen to it at least twenty times!! I recommend it!!
