Well... this CD is really great, honestly much better than all the crap that comes out in our lovely country in the rock scene... I don't think it's lacking in originality, as many say; on the contrary, I've never heard an Italian band that writes songs with a taste that's anything but local, leaning towards Melvins and Jesus Lizard to be precise, and incorporates lyrics sung in Italian that draw on the lessons from the unmatched De André as well as the always relevant Baudelaire, all wrapped in an atmosphere that swings between the sarcastic and the catastrophic, between the sentimental and the despairing, between the apocalyptic and the depressed... well... yes!! these are the masterpieces from our home!! and I listen to music...

beautiful little disc...I bought it this morning, I’ve been listening to it all day...and it keeps getting better...maybe it fits the situation I’m in...it makes me think...but also cry...I love it...!! I had never considered it before but this one is really beautiful!!

but how come no one has reviewed the latest Pelican yet?? well...I'll do it myself...I found it much smoother than the other two but not any less beautiful, on the contrary...
