Damn it, nobody really cares about this CD!! :D...well, thanks to those who took an interest :)...anyway, I was exactly talking about those groups and especially about the overmars :)

yet another masterpiece... let’s not exaggerate! Masterpieces, aside from genres, can be found elsewhere! It’s always about commercial and mainstream stuff, and in the same field, Italy has provided great compensation from other places... but well, tastes are tastes. I haven’t listened to the album, and I don’t think I ever will, because I have a particular aversion to J-Ax; I hated and still hate Articolo 31... well... I’m not rating the album itself, but the review, yes, and it’s very well written, even if a bit long... congratulations :)

After the last two studio sessions (Lucifer song and idolum), this snailking still remains the most beautiful, complete, and emotional work to this day... their dark side of the moon, their masterpiece; everything else is just a tad of lower caliber (I mean all the rest of their discography). This one shines above all!!!

I don't know... Snailking, as sounds, as music, as depth, as psychedelia, as everything, had captured me much more... Result? I still listen to SNAILKING today with a very high average of listens after 6 years of having it, while I listen to IDOLUM, but much less, and above all the recording and some ideas seem a bit empty and stretched... I don't know... it might just be my opinion, because I read a lot of enthusiastic reviews, but this album is unlikely to stand the test of time, in which, on the other hand, snailking came out completely victorious...!! Anyway, always very valid!!

Well, as for the lineup on this album compared to the previous one... well... it’s completely turned upside down, or rather halved... because from that formation, there are only the good Davide and Lucio Lorusso. Davide Piovesan, that monster of technique and elegance, is no longer on drums, but Marco Minnemann is, a guy who has collaborated with Paul Gilbert, Necrophagist, and many others... and even he is not at all bad on this album... but well, now there’s the news that he has left the band too; WHAT BAD LUCK POOR DAVIDE!!
