I finally listened to it!! I'm slowly completing their entire discography!! I'm just missing the first two: grimmrobe demos (which is arriving soon) and 00 void... then I'll have everything from these true geniuses!!! This album is one of their many masterpieces, perhaps the first, and it’s truly overwhelming to realize how much they’ve evolved with the latest monoliths and dimensions into territories they've explored to the limit; just one word, no jokes: GENIUS!!

no come on :) ...I respected your thesis, and I still do :) it's just that I don't think monoliths is a half-hearted album...because everything is an evolution inside it, an evolution of what they've done so far; it's true that it's the catchiest and most accessible album, as much as those terms apply to sunn, eh...but in my opinion, that's the strength of the album...its ability to be listened to and enjoyed without too many issues, unlike the previous ones that had plenty of listening challenges :) ... psycho listen to it a few more times and then tell me how it grows inside you...I've already listened to it a hundred times and with each listen...well...it rises rises rises, and it hurts!! ahahahah...anyway, soon they should post my review of the latest khanate...let's hope they put it up as soon as possible!! :)

I'm really close to the drone now, and I can't do without it anymore... this record is fantastic, just like the other three from the band, especially "things viral" and the latest "clean hands go foul," which I'll be reviewing very soon... great review!!
