Rapoon Time Frost

Never heard this Rapoon. But the premises, thanks to the good shark's review, seem good, even if I agree with Hell that the line between masterpiece and colossal crap is razor-thin. Like the ice sheet I found this morning at 7:30 in the puddle in front of my house and that I, like a 3-year-old child, immediately went to break with the heel of my shoe, getting my shoes dirty :). Beautiful cover.
Spiritualized Songs in A&E

A brief but intense review. Perfect as it is. Unfortunately, I don't share the enthusiasm, which is rather a painful disappointment. I find Jason musically weighed down and overly sweet. Nonetheless, I love both Ladies... (another cover resembling a medicine) and Amazing Grace; the rest is truly avoidable. Giola, speaking of Ladies and Gentlemen, did you see that a Deluxe reissue with beautiful artwork has just been released? I was thinking of buying it again just for the packaging ---->https://www.atpfestival.com/spiritualized.php

I really like Scavengers, Televise, and even Collisions quite a bit. They're actually the only ones I've listened to, to be honest :) and I find them all very similar to each other, which makes Calla a band that you either love or hate. If I had to find a flaw, if I wanted to be really picky, it's Valle's voice, whose lethargy eventually deflates me a bit. My partner, on the other hand, says he has a voice that tears your underwear off. Sublime review, excellent cimmino.
Spacemen 3 & Wooden Shjips Split 7"

Psycho, I think you’re referring to the EP War Sucks that came out this spring: I listened to it and quite liked it! That’s a true return to the obsessions of the space men, it’s a shame it’s only an EP. Let’s hope for the next LP... Sior Lupo, the question you posed is the same one I have; the answer might just lie in the thrill of a brand new cover that says Spacemen 3 on it, so its usefulness is pretty much zero :). Anyway, I agree, in this split the Wooden Shjips are better, at least they put in some passion. Thanks to everyone for stopping by.

Wow! I went to read the other two reviews: all three are beautiful. I'll give it a try since your listening has inspired you in such a way. I should also have my ears trained for certain sounds, let's hope!
Three Mile Pilot Planets (Single)

Ramones, you caught me right away (I wonder how you did that, huh? :) ), I have a very slight preference for Planets, and to say that out of the trio maravilla, Pinback are the ones I like the least, but it is what it is. I like both songs anyway. I posted the cover because with the Californian cold, it’s not good to sleep with my butt exposed :). Thanks a lot for the link, kosmo, I hadn’t thought of searching for something on YouTube. While we’re at it, though, I’m sharing a nice link where there are various videos of the concert played at The Casbah for the band's 20th anniversary --->http://altprogcore.blogspot.com/2009/11/three-mile-pilot-planets-7-2009.html ...BLECH, YOU HAVE TO listen to the old albums, definitely the first two. That’s where they were coopee, coopeesseemee.

As we are towards the end of the year, I want to adjust my rating for the album. When I commented on the review, I was just at the beginning of my listening experience, and I believe it deserves a solid 5. It still appeals to me even after some time; it is the natural continuation of After Dark My Sweet, which was already excellent. They manage to maintain a balance between their natural pop vein, which we noticed in their earlier albums, and this new infatuation with psychedelia and krautrock. I also like Sleepwalker, which has been much maligned, and I don't understand why. They are a blast without getting tiresome, one of the best Italian bands out there. It's a shame I missed them here in Modena to please my partner and endured over two hours of that Agnelli montage. This is one of the best albums of the year, imho.
