I will hear it very soon, boredom sent me a very interesting link :D, everything is great except for the strange scale of values according to which if notes and chords increase, the quality of music increases... it sounds like reasoning from a 14-year-old Dream Theater fan, huh. Mars Volta and At The Drive-In are two completely different ways of conceiving music; the former are the brain, as you say, but the latter are instinct... the heart, the blood. It’s impossible (and pointless) to compare them, I made (sorry for the bad word) the mistake of listening to Deloused in the Comatorium in the hope of finding At The Drive-In in it.
