I don’t know how much these LussuTucciCiancaglini can be compared, but lately I’ve become passionate, thanks to their latest album "Radiolarians 1", about another jazz trio: Medeski Martin & Wood, which at least in formation (jazz trio with double bass, drums, and piano) seems to be similar. From a rough glance at the review, they seem to have a more 'classic' sound. In any case, I’ll try to listen to something, even though jazz isn’t exactly my cup of tea. Cheers.

Well... if I'm not mistaken, this is the band of the guitarist from Monster Magnet. I just listened to their new album "4" the other day and it impressed me on the first listen. Their version of Astronomy Domine is nice too, even though it's not too different from the original.
