Nice mini-review of the Josi concert :)). They are often compared to dEUS and Pavement, although I read an interview where they said they were inspired by Fugazi for the rhythmic part (!). Mmmmh... I still have the pleasure of listening to them live, and I'm very curious; I'll go on May 26th here in the province of Modena. I like Yuppie Flu; I bought the reissue of "At the Zoo". Bye!

Hal, I only have this original, the others I downloaded from the internet. On proxis.be, a Belgian site Josi recommended to me, you can find them all, but they cost a bit. I'm almost sure that here in Italy it’s impossible to find them, just to change things up... I saw that they are selling the new record online from their site.

I don't know them, apart from the Cure cover that you mentioned, which I like.

Thank you all :). I sent the samples, but you can also hear something on their website. It's great that some of you already know this band; I have a question for you: have you listened to the albums after this one? Do you like them? I didn't like "Life Transmission" very much, perhaps too much electronics; it seems to me that they've lost some of their originality.

For those interested, here’s a nice link to listen to the first track. The video is hilarious, and there are others in the same genre, White Stripes, Electric Six, etc.

I was mainly referring to Samuel's voice, amazing, especially live, where the other two often fall short. When it comes to the "Subsonica phenomenon," we can agree, but if we talk about who copies whom, well... Bluvvertigo are not the pinnacle of originality. It's true that Agnelli doesn't have great technique, but since you're talking about cars... isn't Morgan the one who crashed with Dario Argento's daughter on the ring road in Rome in a Porsche (or a car like that)? Let's not talk about coherence, because none of them comes out unscathed.

Damn it! I wanted to do it! I even had the samples ready :(...Great enthusiasm, and the album deserves it, but it's a bit limited, you could have said a lot more. I would have talked about the lyrics too, ironic, fun, and irreverent...like "Collagen Rock" or "To Hell with good intention."
