First of all, thanks to all all all the attendees, I read most of the comments as a "welcome back" and my stone heart melted like a pill in beer. But now, as good Mr. Wolf used to say, enough with the mutual flattery, let’s get down to serious matters. I re-read myself and all this time sitting on the bench has made me a bit rusty; I forgot to mention that the album is from 2007 and it's released on DC Recordings, a label I didn't know until I listened to the oscillating record and I promise to delve into it as soon as possible. It may sound silly, but it’s important to say certain things, you know. I also notice that mentioning krautrock multiple times can be misleading, even though Castellanos has surely been influenced by the German music of the 70s, so don't expect an Autobahn, nor a Yeti, nor an In den Garten Pharaos, nor a Ufo, nor an Electronic Meditation, nor... on and on into infinity. Let’s keep our feet on the ground.
@PSYCHO I’ll send you the record where you know as soon as I can, which is now (this also goes for KOSMO :D). Yes, I let the little one listen to everything; for example tonight, upon returning from work, the moment I dedicate myself body and soul to the kid (he really is a gem :) ), I played in sequence: the self-titled album by Brain Donor (the written review made me want to dust off a Cope that I never loved enough) and Ticket Crystals by Bardo Pond. Now, Bardo Pond collapsed into a deep sleep and I can understand why, but towards the end of the Brain Donor album, in Messages I think, when it starts doing the voice Uhowwww...Uhowwww.... he had the same expression as dad, mouth wide open, when he listens to Spacemen 3. I don’t know if that’s a good sign. I was just talking about this a few days ago with CAZ: I hope he doesn’t have a rejection crisis and turn into a NOFX fan. @CAZ Yes, you have to try this Oscillation, but if you don’t like it, we can still be desk buddies, right? :) At most, you could go for the Croatian Tigers of Mast (I’m almost sure you’ll like them).
@BLECHTROMMEL I also say yes, and yes, and yes.
@ANTMO So the legend goes that I was browsing the LastFM page of Beyond The Wizards Sleeve and among similar artists there was The Oscillation, I tried to search for it because the name reminded me of the opening of the self-titled Silver Apples album: I’m more lucky than soulful. @ATLETICO RAMONA But how? It works perfectly for me. Try again, for crying out loud! But I think this album might not be for her. @SFASCIA But how on earth did you create that awesome avatar?
@BARTLEBOOM I have it scented... my breath. And what did you think? Eeeehhh...
