Jethro Tull Crest Of A Knave

actually, the judges who judged him were quite foolish... maybe they had only listened to steel monkey, which has something vaguely metal about it.

Well, I don't know them... tell me what kind of music they make, so I can try listening to them... (and maybe recommend an album!)

Holy hellish heaven... my sister made me listen to this countless times... This isn’t even a review, especially compared to the other one... But the album, oh my hellish heaven! One idiotic song after another, useless and cloying pop, sometimes more than annoying, with idiotic lyrics that are not cryptic or enigmatic, Ferro is not an artist; he's just a poor fool (or a dickhead) who wouldn't know how to read four chords on a staff. The real artists are quite different (Radiohead, some Madonna albums, the very first Green Day, but even better, Jethro Tull, Queen, Genesis, King Crimson...). To define this guy as an artist is an insult to music and to artists, the true ones. Dear AR, I would love to hear your thoughts on who the real artists are; maybe respond to this message publicly, so I can steer you towards something decent (since I am He in person!)...
Jethro Tull A Passion Play

Patience, I'll make up for it with Crest of a Knave... Just hope it doesn't let me down too :-). Anyway, since I didn’t mention it earlier: the album (as you can tell from the rating) (today I'm feeling quite dramatic) is quite wonderful; I mostly agree about the confusing ending, but the acoustic guitar parts are wonderfully full of pathos. The full maturity has arrived; it might be hard to listen to at first, but then, like with all Tull's tracks, after a while it becomes quite catchy, despite remaining extremely refined in its stylistic choices. Fuck Scaruffi (who gives it a 5... bah, I give up trying to understand that guy).

Blink182 The Mark,Tom and Travis show
Voto:
for pity's sake... I won't vote for the album because I've never listened to it, but Blink-182... come on... check out Nirvana, Ramones, Sex Pistols (and the early Green Day) if you want some good punk, but not Blink-182... then, maybe, listen to Jethro Tull and King Crimson, which are not punk at all but are great...
