So, I'm only just listening to the album in question now, and for now it doesn't seem like much to me, but I'll wait until I've listened to it properly to comment... However, if I have to say something about May's technique, I can say: it's certainly inferior to the likes of Steve Hackett or Robert Fripp IN EVERY WAY, but he still remains a guitarist who, whether for his very personal sound, or for his style (truly good), or for the clarity of his tone, stays among the best.

Oh dear, the review isn't stunning, but it's acceptable; the album, on the other hand, I can't rate higher than a 7 (the minimum threshold, in my opinion, for 4 stars): it's nice, especially Horizons and Supper's Ready, but it comes across as too frenetic: the tempo changes are abrupt jumps, not like in Nursery Cryme, where they were quite softened...

The review manages to be concise without omitting anything, but it could have been better; however, I completely disagree with what is said: in my opinion, Angel Of Retribution is a mediocre album, not yet terrible, but quite insignificant, with the exception of Angel and Judas Rising.
