Modest Mussorgsky Quadri di un'esposizione
Voto:
very beautiful, yes.
I'm starting to get interested in classical music thanks to these compositions (while still maintaining my reverence for King Crimson).
Van Der Graaf Generator World Record

I’m not voting on the review because I’m REALLY in a hurry and I can’t read it carefully. As for the album... mmmh, it’s nice, yes, but I think it’s too uninspired. I mean, it’s more than listenable, but it lacks that certain je ne sais quoi of van der Graaf.

No, sorry, and you think this would be a review? I’ll avoid rating the album (I haven't listened to it yet).
Queen A Kind Of Magic
Voto:
useless album, only salvaging princes and who wants to live. annoying review.
and then: what's hard rock doing in the genres? O_O?
My Dying Bride A Line Of Deathless Kings
Voto:
nice record, yes.
King Crimson The ConstruKction Of Light
Voto:
diathema: thank you, you finally cleared my doubt about the warr guitar, now I finally KNOW^^
As for the braininess (or whatever the heck it's called :-P), sure, I totally agree with you that KC are always brainy, but at least in my opinion, there are many differences, for example, between, I don’t know, Lark's Tongues and this album, even though both are very brainy. I mean: this album, in my opinion, is too brainy because it often lacks aggression, which really tempers the complexity of a composition.
Kisses hugs, Nutella & cholesterol to everyone^^
King Crimson The Power To Believe
Voto:
mmmh, the album is indeed soulless... but it seems intentional to me. The world that emerges from the notes of the album is a synthetic world, the same synthetic world represented on the cover. If they wanted to make a synthetic album (which, in my opinion, they did want to), they succeeded very well, breaking free from the halfway stagnation they entered with The ConstruKction (nice, but a bit flat).
King Crimson Three Of A Perfect Pair
Voto:
uhm... the beginning seems borrowed from my (horrible) review of discipline... I might as well ask for copyright U_U
the album is good, yes yes, although there's something in the first part that doesn't quite convince me...

Have you ever had someone explain to you what a consecutio temporum is??????
