Deep Purple Made In Japan

The review isn't particularly shining, but it's not bad. The album, on the other hand, is one of the best live recordings ever, even though I've never been able to stand Space Truckin' (too long).

Well, the review isn’t too bad; I’ll avoid expressing my opinion on the album because, from the little I've listened to, aside from the title track and a few others, I didn't like it. On the other hand, I haven't listened to it enough to give a definitive judgment. Right now, I’m oscillating between a 2 and a 3.

Capatonda, in what sense would I be overestimating myself?
Genesis The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
Voto:
Mhm, I like the album less than Selling England, but it's monstrous. Sure, there's no longer any minisuite, but the entire album wraps all the songs into a single amalgam (it's not by chance that it's a concept). Anyway, I agree that, in terms of sound, it's closer to other Genesis albums to PG's solo work, even though PG didn't do much in terms of musical writing.

sorry, I voted the wrong rating for the album

Enough with all these reviews of American Idiot, I can't take it anymore... Anyway, I find the idea that this album is a masterpiece exaggerated, even though I don't think it's bad. Sure, it's definitely commercial and silly, but it has several good ideas (Jesus Of Suburbia, Homecoming), although on the other hand there are useless and almost horrid tracks (the title track, Holiday, and others).

Well, oh dear, "crimes" isn't really appropriate, maybe a bit exaggerated... Keep in mind that even the most brilliant composer, sooner or later, has a creative crisis...
King Crimson Islands
Voto:
eternal, wonderful, unchanging, progressive in every sense (especially "Sailor's Tale," where Fripp gives almost his best). Perhaps the only criticism I can make (but just to nitpick) is that Formentera Lady, after the beginning, has some passages that I don't like as much as the rest, although still at very high levels.
Genesis ...and Then There Were Three...
Voto:
An album that's often underrated, even though it's not exactly a masterpiece... Sure, it's transitional between two eras, pop and progressive, but it features several at least decent tracks, among which stand out The lady lies and burning rope, contrasted by follow you follow me and many too many...
