I don't really understand all this angst against metal, to tell the truth.
And also against Sunn O))) (who can indeed be quite debatable, just to be clear).
I had heard the name Shit and Shine some time ago from I-don't-remember-who on the occasion of I-don't-remember-what.
Now I'll take this opportunity to listen to this album.
The review is also quite good; but it loses a bit due to the focus against the metal scene. Not out of local pride; you could have talked just as badly about prog-rock, it would have been the same thing.

The album is truly something wonderful. I think it's the best musical interpretation of existential despair. (uh, here come the big words...) The review, oh my, I find it very beautiful as well.

Wow, spectacular, both them and the review.
I think I’ve only heard something similar with the debut of the Suicide.
Mind-blowing, haunting, and terrifying, in other words sublime.

So, let's do all the calculations... It's the first review, so it's logical that it isn't excellent; there are various inaccuracies as well as a few mistakes here and there (as dixerunt vari before me, the albums were 4), however, there are also some parts that, if developed further, could have been interesting... I don't know, 3 seems fair to me... And I agree on the quality of the recording.

terrible, terrible, infinitely terrible...

Oh, The Shark _
My friends and I watched all four of them in two days... for a month, we talked about nothing else...
Anyway, this one is good, the other three are terrible (except for the second one, which still has some glimpses of decency and has the meanest shark of all time).

awful review, damn!
what does "the death of euronymous by varg vikerness" mean???? It makes no sense!
Then, the way you write it seems like Euronymous is the mind behind Burzum, damn!
You string together disconnected sentences, creating abominations like "The album opens with the title track, finally the Immortals use this title, the third album by the Immortals contains music forged in blood and snow."
And then, learn to use accents and punctuation, come on... it’s one thing to occasionally mess up a comma, or to write "visero" instead of "vissero" (it can happen), but an entire review like this, for pity's sake!
Paradise lost gothic

Uh, this review is the same one they wrote in Metal Hammer when the album was released...
So it could be a joke.
Brian May Back To The Light

The review isn't too bad...
The album is truly terrible.
Horrifying.
Better to listen again to innuendo or some other Queen album.
