Great group forgotten by everyone... great review.
Europe The Final Countdown

A ridiculous review for a band that is, all in all, honest! This review doesn't make me laugh at all!! Bho?? The album is definitely the worst of Europe, but the rest of their discography deserves a solid pass, from the first two that are much more tied to classic metal to the last one of the reunion. And then, having singers like TEMPEST!! In short, this review is filled with clichés that were just fine in the eighties.

We were all in love with EDIE, as I see?!!
I still own the vinyl and I listen to it from time to time... how young I was back then!
Anyway, great record, even though she hasn't lived up to those levels again. What a shame.

The Grammy he won at the time for Best Heavy Metal Album, beating "...And Justice for All" by METALLICA, sparked debates... JETHRO TULL "HEAVY METAL"?????
Francesco De Gregori Calypsos - 9 canzoni nuove

But De Gregori wasn't the one recently trashing Springsteen? Listen to "PER LE STRADE DI ROMA" from his latest album. WELL. Isn't it a copycat of "STREETS OF PHILADELPHIA" by the boss????? I should mention that I like DYLAN, SPRINGSTEEN, and DE GREGORI. This latest album is a notch above the penultimate one, Pezzi!

Would he be the only one to imitate BOB Dylan!!!???
Neil Young Prairie Wind
Voto:
That Neil Young repeats himself a bit too much is a huge lie!!! Maybe that's something only someone who has never listened to his entire discography could say. I believe he is the American singer-songwriter who has experimented the most with music, paying a high price for certain risky artistic choices (especially in the 80s: reactor, trans, everybody's rockin', old ways, life....) but still honest and incredibly brave.
Alice Cooper Hey Stoopid
Voto:
Good album that at the time introduced me to Uncle Alice, but saying it's his best seems exaggerated. Back then, Alice Cooper was trying to stay afloat with the commercial hard rock that was all the rage (late '80s, early '90s, before the grunge wave, in short)...and after Trash he released this album packed with collaborations that, in my opinion, diminish Alice's true talent...still deserves a solid 5!

I agree "Dep session 1996" was better than this!
Afghan Whigs Black Love

A band that's pretty much at the end of its run at the time of this album's release. They had given their best on "Congregation" and "Gentlemen."
