Alright. You convinced me, I'm changing my vote mid-course: 5. After all, I talked so well about it...

Machine Head Burn My Eyes

I think that "Through the ashes of empire" doesn't come close to this album, both in historical importance and in content. I see the latest Machine Head album as a demonstration of strength and character after a couple of rather mediocre records that tended to chase musical trends.

Nice album but ruined by an awful production! As Francescobus says, the bass seems to overpower all the other instruments. It's a shame because the songs are there...
Overkill I Hear Black
Voto:
An appreciated album at the time. Let's keep in mind that all the big names in thrash metal slowed down their pace during that period: Metallica with the "Black album," Testament with "The Ritual," and Megadeth with "Countdown to Extinction."
Overkill The Killing Kind

Here is a highly underrated modern Thrash album. Without a doubt, one of their best albums in the last fifteen years; the '80s were a different story. Back then, it could easily hold its ground against albums by PANTERA and MACHINE HEAD.

You stole my review. Great album that brought the TESTAMENT back to life after a rather dark period. Notable is the use of growl vocals by Chuck Billy, which will frequently appear from this album onward.

Beautiful and original review. Congratulations. After having dismissed it at the time, I have re-evaluated this CD and I must say that after "Viaggio senza vento," it is the one I prefer by Timoria. With this album, Pedrini aimed to channel the band in a specific direction. The previous albums, although above average, were too scattered and lacked a common denominator, jumping from genre to genre sometimes with results that were a bit embarrassing.
Grip Inc. Nemesis

Great album and great supergroup. Seen them live twice, they didn’t give any chance... But above all, they managed to find something original to add to their modern thrash metal. Awesome. Let's hope for a new album...

With this album, they literally flushed away the little good they had built during their career. America ruined them. A disc that's nothing short of terrible!!!
