This album was said to collect the scraps from the previous Magic... and it seems so to me. Taking out three or four songs, there’s very little left. As a convinced Springsteen fan, I was disappointed, especially because if they were supposed to be scraps, we could have expected something better, as TRACKS taught us. Now I think it was all just an excuse to go back on tour, and there, the Boss never disappoints! I've seen him seven times and he has never let me down!!!

Birbabirba brings the alternative to debaser... this is beautiful!!! I've listened to the album... out of curiosity, you know... apart from Alessandra, who has a beautiful voice, the rest is absolute emptiness.
Birbabirba needs to explain to me what he means when he says that on debaser only music by losers gets reviewed... what does he mean? What??

Besides, Down has been around for about fifteen years, and Anselmo was still part of Pantera when he formed the group to play music different from what he was doing with the mother band. "NOLA" from 1995 remains unmatched, even though the latter is superior to "DOWN II," which came out in 2002. SO don’t be surprised if DOWN sounds different from PANTERA. That’s what Anselmo wanted...

Great album and great band. Congratulations on the rediscovery. Unfortunately, they've always been relegated to a B-list group. For no reason. Mississippi Queen has earned immortality and is worth the album all on its own.
