Joe Ely Letter To Laredo
Voto:
Absolutely one of the best representatives of "americana." Don't miss it on August 1st in Cava di Pusiano (COMO).
America Here & Now (Disc 1)
Voto:
Disco disappointment. Much better the second album attached with their live hits...
Pantera Reinventing The Steel
Voto:
Unfortunately, in this album they quote themselves a bit too much. It lacks a bit of originality. Even though it still remains above average...
Piero Pelù Né Buoni Né Cattivi
Voto:
Let's say that Pelù has written much better songs than El diablo, Maudit, and Fata Morgana, which you mention as his best from the Litfiba catalog. Those were the Litfiba already in decline...
W.A.S.P. The Crimson Idol

Great album. The review, not so much... Honestly, whether it's melancholic on Debaser, I don't care... I was looking for a review of this beautiful record.
Therapy? Crooked Timber

oops... we have without HHHH!!!!
Therapy? Crooked Timber
Voto:
This latest Therapy album falls into the category of their strangest and most experimental records, much like "Suicide pact-you first" from 1999 or "Never apologise never explain" from 2004. I think that aside from the massive success of "Troublegum" (1994) and "Infernal love" (1995), Therapy have never received the recognition they deserve. Critics completely overlooked them after the successes of the early nineties, forgetting that they continued to release respectable albums, like this latest one, which, although not one of their masterpieces, is still quite enjoyable. For a band that's been around for twenty years now, that's no small feat...
Billy Joel Piano Man
Voto:
Unfortunately, it's true. Joel is underrated. He has often been considered a poor imitation of Elton John, and moreover, he is unknown to most, especially here in Italy. Everyone knows his most famous songs, but almost nobody can link them to his name. Try for yourself...
Manassas Manassas
Voto:
Great review for a superlative and underrated album.
The Four Horsemen Gettin' Pretty Good...At Barely Gettin' By...
