It’s you who’s aging, Puni, serving up texts about personal hygiene and banal disquisitions on wealth/happiness or character/success... what a bore, what a desolation. Have you ever thought about becoming a pundit on Domenica In or Verissimo? I can see you fitting right in.

Very nice review, well done indeed. I knew little or nothing about Canetti and I've discovered that I was wrong. The myriad of supporting characters you described reminded me for a moment of some images from Dostoevsky's The Demons. The Wikipedia page about the author confirms it. Incredible. What can I say, I’m off to buy it!

To me, this review doesn't seem badly written. The rating for the album is subjective, but the rating for the review can't always be a direct reflection of the former. Sure, it's a bit sterile and academic in some parts, but I've read much worse pieces, even among yours, Puni. And yes, "this" Punisher, with his usual arrogance, even has the audacity to give it 1 star. But for heaven's sake, is that even possible?!?

Personally, I believe this is not a book review, but yet another pretext for expressing an opinion on a very delicate topic like the one at hand. Therefore, in terms of a review, you get a nice 1 because once again your writings are pretentious regardless. And this does you no honor, especially when considering your last sentence filled with pitiful victimhood, equally insulting towards the "average user" (?!) of the site, who supposedly has nothing better to do than insult, deface, and mock your writings. Puah, who are you to say such things about this community that existed before you and will exist despite you? Quite pathetic, De Lorenzo, trust me. And insulting because, after all, you look down on that average user, of whom I proudly consider myself a part. Or worse, you feel superior. This flaunting of your nobility of spirit for the services you provide (shelters, nursing homes) is entirely pretentious, self-referential, and intellectually dishonest. As for the rest, you express a personal opinion that, given the delicacy and complexity of the topic intertwining ethics, morality, religion, and politics, deserves respect, even if it is not necessarily shared. It may be the first of your reviews that, despite certain content, did not give me hives, also due to the apt classical comparison. But it is not enough. It doesn't matter if you are a fake, a provocateur, a madman, or an idiot savant: Debaser is a site for reviews, not a place for propaganda. You are out of place. As always.

It's among my listens of these past weeks. The name has "changed" but those who loved good Pedro will end up appreciating this album too. A beautiful work, but not outstanding. As often happens, I would love to see it live. Who knows.
