Niccolò Ammaniti Io e Te
Voto:
I read it in a little over an hour the day after its release in bookstores. With eagerness. Guys, I really like Ammaniti and this book was yet another confirmation. I believe that "Come Dio Comanda" is the masterpiece of the good Niccolò; "Che la festa cominci" is hilarious, but it reminded me too much of "Il capodanno dell'umanità" from "Fango." I could go on for hours talking about this man and his books. I’ll stop here, not before saying that I like the review in its brevity, perfect to entice potential readers. Well done.

I quote. I must quote: "...or would you rather waste your time reading trashy novels or pulp literature, the kind that fills the shelves of the bookstores that most people frequent...". Dear Fabia, (like the Skoda, damn!), a sentence like this at line 12 of your lovely recipe genuinely caused me an anal prolapse and seriously compromised my continued reading. What are we talking about, Fabietta? Where does all this bitterness and arrogance come from? You get pedantic with me, you explain the etymology of the author's name, you speak to me in Latin, you gift me your divine insights, and then you let yourself slip into this cheap populism... Fabietta, what the hell do you know about what’s on the shelves of bookstores and what the people who frequent them read? Sure, I also walk into the supermarkets/big-box stores of printed paper and often shudder at what I find in the top 3 bestsellers... however, I would be more cautious with these generalizations that do you no honor, my young champion of the Creator. Rather, let’s dissolve prejudices, haughtiness, and assorted populisms in the comforting sea of love: join me, and we will save the bookstores from the bad books and the fools who buy them. Between a lemon and a touch of breasts.

You forget that debaser is also a place of collective meteorism and incendiary. Otherwise, I wouldn't frequent it.

Hi dear Odra, you remember well, I’m from Turin... and I thank you for the kind offer. The last time we talked about books it was about The Road by McCarthy... I think I’ll treat myself, which one should I start with?

The review is very tempting. I've been told about McEwan for months. I guess I have to. Where should I start? Prut?
