Niccolò Fabi Una somma di piccole cose
Voto:
In my humble opinion, this is Niccolò's least successful album, alongside "Sereno ad Ovest." Recently, he declared that the first phase of his artistic journey has come to an end. That what he had to say, he has said. This last chapter is truly a missed opportunity. There is no doubt about his talents as a musician, as well as a singer-songwriter. The album is well-played, but it doesn’t convince me at all. I saw him at the beginning of the promotional tour (was it the 30th time?) and I must say that my impression was confirmed during the performance of the new songs. I’m not convinced by the melodies, much less the lyrics. "Ho perso la città" is the emblem of this stagnant phase: a really weak, at times embarrassing, outburst of environmentalism. Except for, as mentioned above, "Una mano sugli occhi" and "Le chiavi di casa," but it’s an album that conveyed almost nothing to me. Maybe I’m the one who has aged, but it’s the first time I felt him to be distant.
I like your review, but Sleep, in your case, the words aren’t superfluous; I would have liked to know more about what you think of this album in relation to the artist and his other albums. To understand whether my disappointment doesn’t depend on him.

Rossana Roma, why do you get lost behind the words of this minus habens? Be with me. And let’s listen to him together.

Beautiful. I share many things, while I make others my own by reading your pleasant and moving lines. Thank you. And hats off.

A nice fake. A nice tracbaitrac. A nice record. A nice day. A nice fart.
Devendra Banhart Mala
Voto:
I find the blunt judgment on good Devendra a bit unfair. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a die-hard fan of his, but some things are worth noting. Above all, "What Will We Be," in my humble opinion: an interesting album with a couple of peaks, "Rats" in particular. If he had truly been fashionable and cool, he would have sold millions of records. Instead, we're talking about an honest and slightly eccentric singer-songwriter who has reached (at most) a 69th place in the UK chart and a fourth place in the US one. I still need to listen to this, so I can't say. Stopping at the rankings, any reference names, and a review that self-indulges in being negative is a bit too little to form an idea of who Devendra is and what he does. Mbè.

"Cristina shows her prog vein, slight yet present." I admit that I loved you. For a second. But it was true love. Rare commodity. Rarissima. Prut!
