Welcome back, Vin! Nice page, long, but that's your style ;-). I didn't mind the movie.

@Fallen: now it's clear. Instead of making the paradoxical comparison, you could have said from the beginning what you just said: "He who saves a life, saves the entire world" and vice versa. Although I understand what you're trying to say, referring to the scale of magnitude, I still believe that the example of the fine is still out of place... :)

@Fallen: that man is the worst beast, I agree with you, and I also wrote it in my first comment... but let me understand: the Holocaust and not letting anyone pass without a fine on the subway are on the same level?! If it's meant to be an example, you really picked the wrong one. If a fine is issued, it's not to cause harm but to enforce the rules (or at least I hope so), then, I don't know which inspectors you’re familiar with... If, on the other hand, your example was meant to demonstrate a theory, revisit it a bit because, in my opinion, it's somewhat out of place.

Great Pheidias! Burning topics that are unfortunately still relevant. I don't know the film, though. In response to your initial question, "is it really about a man?" ...I'll be pessimistic, but unfortunately, yes, only a man could conceive such crazy ideas. My grandfather also found himself living through certain realities, fortunately returning safe and sound after a few years.

Hehe dear Mopaga... ;-) I would like to review The Green Mile as well, but if someone does it before me, oh well...
