I remember you from when I read the review on Nargaroth, which I really liked. This one, in terms of expressive ability, is no less impressive, but I preferred the other. Even though I'm not an expert, I believe you summarized the essence of the album well within the overall and controversial context that is black metal.

I'm not too convinced about the choice of vocals either, and not so much because of the singer's qualities, but rather due to the vocal style, which I believe should have been in a death-style in an album composed of certain sounds and specific atmospheres. Let's just say that voice and music don't perfectly match from my point of view. Prog metal?! Dream Theater?! What have you been smoking? Certainly, there are progressive elements, but they must still be related to death metal, and the comparison with DT has nothing to do with it; we are in two completely different worlds.

Great as always, I find the use of English terms quite good, as in certain matters they convey the meaning better and more concisely than Italian.

I like you because you are objective. I've read many of your reviews, and it'sclear from your writing that you have a great black experience, especially of the "golden times."

I always caught this movie late at night on local channels when I was younger, but I never saw it in full. I believe, however, that your analysis of the film was more than good considering its quality, which perhaps didn’t warrant so much reflection...

It's been ages since I've last followed the May Day concert, probably since the last time B.B. King played. By now, it has turned into a sterile event, where, as the good Fidia already said, people take advantage to fling mud at each other, waving red flags and all that jazz, when in reality, workers have no color or political factions; they get up every morning and work their asses off to get by every single day of their lives, in a context (the Italian one) that certainly does not protect them at all. And then, on a beautiful day like this, there’s no way I'm spending the afternoon in front of the TV; I’d rather do something else.
