Can you explain the "pornographic" in de-generi? :-) What’s with the reference to hard photos in the booklet?! :-D

I've never understood cover bands. I get playing a cover, a piece that you like. Who among us hasn’t done that with their band? But dedicating an entire band to mimic another, and in some cases, dressing and styling like them? No way.
I agree with larrok; I think it would be excruciating to sit through an entire concert like that. If the extreme technicality already reduces a band’s potential, playing only covers delivers the final blow. It’s a way of saying, “Look how cool I am, I can play the solo like Paul Gilbert.” That’s fine, okay, but you’re imitating Paul Gilbert, who, whether you like it or not, deserves credit for doing something good in guitar technique. I mean, he invented something. Those who play covers never create a damn thing. Rearranging a piece doesn’t really mean much; composition is what makes the difference.

Since someone apparently might have been offended, I confirm what the reviewer said about the "overstepping" to go to p**** in Sicily. Let's say that a young guy from Reggio, in the throes of hormonal storms, can unleash his instincts in nearby Messina...something that wouldn't be as easy on his side. I'm not from Reggio, but I know this for sure. Furthermore, I thought I understood from the beginning that the point was a comparison between RC-ME and S. Diego-Tijuana regarding habits, and not an offense to the people of Messina.
