You’re right, it’s difficult to talk about flamenco. It’s a genre with a powerful soul, deeply rooted in the culture of a people, yet simultaneously it has a thousand faces and parallels that embrace other musical genres, such as jazz, for example. Paco de Lucía, like all the other master guitarists, is beyond debate. The review could have been a bit more in-depth.
