I believe (without descending into rhetoric) that this is an authentic MASTERPIECE of metal (in general). I don’t agree with your judgment on "painkiller"; the cover is flawless in my opinion. Perhaps it's unnecessary, because a record like this didn’t need a filler song at the end, but it's still beautiful. The rhythmic component, then, is technically impressive in its progression/creativity, much to the chagrin of many highly acclaimed "technical" bands. In my opinion, everyone who plays this genre owes a big hat tip to this record.

Good review, a perfect summary of their music, which honestly, with all due willingness, I couldn't listen to even for the 10 minutes you mentioned. After 1 minute, my ears were already inflating like two hot air balloons. Maybe I approached it the wrong way; perhaps if I try again, I might find pleasure in an album like that. For now, it doesn't attract me at all. Great Tepes, see you.
