I’ll tell you, this is among my favorite forms of metal. However, I long ago gave up expecting a miracle or a great album comparable (even if only in some aspects) to the glories of the past. Times have changed, and more than twenty years have passed; it won't happen again. Let's hold on to the great albums we've had, which will never die.
Regarding Forbidden, they certainly won't be able to make their way now; those who appreciated them back then or later in the years (like me) will continue to appreciate them, otherwise, no. There can't be the explosive force of the past any longer; just look at their performance at the Graspop festival in 2008, a band that was in decent shape overall, but just hearing Russ Anderson's voice is enough to understand how much time has passed and where they can reach. With this, I’m not saying they have declined, but that the years have passed for them too.

I would have liked to do it myself, but I arrived late :-) I would say your review is a bit too enthusiastic; it's a good book and flows easily, for me who travels by train it was perfect to lighten the hours I had to spend. I agree with the last sentence of the postscript, when I read it, it made me laugh a lot.

Great review, the book is one of my all-time favorites, I read it with eagerness and interest and in my opinion, the way the stories intertwine in this book is masterful.

A somewhat sparse review, I believe the book is one of King’s best, not so much in literary terms, but in terms of its unsettling atmosphere. There was more to say.

Interesting, nice introduction in memory of the old metal magazines and the dealers to whom you had to write the name :D ...heh

Oh my God, as much as I loved Metallica and will always thank them for what they gave in the 80s, I still can't find the courage to listen to this album in full. The first two tracks were enough to make me lose my mind from boredom and predictability. But maybe it's just my issue...
