The Velvet Underground White Light White Heat
Voto:
don't worry about what you'll be told....just write (and always well like in this review) and that's it!! velvet aren’t exactly my thing, but I appreciate them, I respect them, and if by chance I come across the 17-minute piece, believe me, I won't hold back....
Subtle A New White
Voto:
if you like the album, I recommend "13&god," which is notwist + themselves.... the rhythms of notwist and the spoken/sung parts of themselves/subtle...... definitely dominated by notwist sounds but still very enjoyable....

The album is definitely "different," difficult, and rightly so, as Dissected points out, layered... there’s also a little "voice" that sings and can drive anyone crazy... I wouldn't know how to categorize it in a new genre, I completely lack a solid electro-hip-hop-underground base (which is vast).... and the video by FKO is phenomenal!!
Slowblow Slowblow

island + black heart procession + sparklehorse + mum's voice = I WANT IT !!
Pearl Jam Oct.22 2003
Voto:
just don’t buy them and maybe review them.... anyway, great group, especially live (both the band and the audience though)....
Soundgarden Superunknown
Voto:
maybe the fifth star is too much... an album I listened to for months back in high school... a complex, structured, and varied album... you made me want to listen to it again... the wonderful throat of Chris Cornell, as you say, has now been ruined with Audioslave (terrible!!)...
Afghan Whigs Black Love
Voto:
gentlemen is a masterpiece...black love I hope to meet him soon....
Oasis Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants

I go crazy over certain reviews.... since you’re young, you’ll have the chance to become a great connoisseur of music.... so I’ll recommend you some bands/singers..... Mogwai, Sigur Rós, Radiohead, Dirty Three, Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, Neu!, Faust, Kraftwerk, Tim Buckley, Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave, Tortoise, Arab Strap, Godspeed You!, Slint, Smog, Tindersticks, For Carnation, Elliott Smith, Cat Power, Sonic Youth, Grandaddy, Calexico, Friend of Dean Martinez, Beck, Wire, Echo & the Bunnymen, Bauhaus, Can, Faust, June of 44, Mark Lanegan, Interpol, Calla, Liars, Clinic, British Sea Power, Madrugada, Tom Waits, Wilco, Sparklehorse, Giant Sand, Beta Band, I’m Kloot, Mercury Rev, Flaming Lips, The Coral, The Smiths, The Cure, Joy Division, Black Heart Procession, Radar Bros, Low, Songs: Ohia.... try fishing randomly, listen to the album at least a couple of times and you’ll see that the 5-star rating for that Oasis album will mysteriously drop to 1 (or at most 2)... I probably forgot a thousand other bands/singers (all the electronic stuff, Italian music for example).... you’ll find them on your own....
Liars Live @ Luminaire, London
Voto:
But how is it possible to buy a Liars CD and not have high expectations for their live performance?? Have you ever listened to that CD by any chance?? The review, however, seems perfect for a Liars live show...

finally, I can give 5 stars to an album... it should be studied in school, from the first grade to middle school... in high school, we could move on to something more challenging (l'imboscata, caffè de la paix)... at university "messa arcaica" or "gilgamesh"...
