great tellier, great lewis.....intimate, moody album, without percussion, difficult to listen to...I find it hard to associate listening to it with the necessary joint (which never hurts!!)....very different from the subsequent politics which is definitely more "world"......excellent album for those who need to make space for their thoughts......

I was lucky enough to see Middleton opening for Mogwai at the Rainbow maybe 2/3 years ago..... I promised myself: I absolutely have to see Arab Strap because they are a perfect synthesis of what I always hope to find in any band..... but life, work, love last Friday was working against me.... maybe next time.......
