"Hi Dune... I consider you to be of sound mind. I hope I’m not wrong. Don’t worry, it was just a jab at those who demand debaser=metal/indie/etc-snob and then end up writing technical nonsense. It’s better to write about everyday things (even the past, indeed), but with heart! I’m sorry that you misunderstood me; I remain a big fan of the early 883 (and of Repetto), of easy music (!?) and of real emotions. And anyway, obviously long live Lou Reed, long live Bowie, long live Corgan, long live Pink Floyd, long live indie and the indie snobs. Good luck with your next review! P.S.: I reiterate the score."

The soundtrack of my first "crush" (second grade) was like never before. How come? How come?

"Rap doesn't do it for me, hip hop really doesn't do it for me. Techno is crap, but rock and roll, rock and roll I do like."

"It was already well known that the good Marco Castoldi, known as Morgan, was a genius" - but since when? Creativity and original solutions are very different from genius (genius = bowie/cure/kraftwerk/de andrè/faust'o), randomly copying and, above all, remaking an album almost identically while posing as a great decadent and 'alternative' figure is not genius!!!

I found that piece with sugar awful. It's a shame that they turned out so badly; they could have bounced back... in my opinion, the last truly beautiful one was no need to argue, and after that, they started to decline... even the one with the huge eye wasn't that great, was it?

Yes, but Pavarotti with the Spice? Shall we put that on the table??? :D But did the cranberries dissolve?

Ah, I get it now, Krystal! Yes, you're right, but often, massification leads to a more widespread audience encountering a sectarian (or niche) phenomenon. On one hand, the audience educates itself and grows intellectually (or should - without MTV Unplugged we might not have that beautiful Nirvana album!), but on the other hand, the "for a few" event, let's say "high-brow," risks being trivialized, losing quality and impact (precisely to reach the masses). I leave these discussions to the apocalyptic and the integrated of Umberto Eco; I’ll add that unfortunately there’s a lack of an unplugged from Britney (I believe), which might be reevaluated by "the few - the users of a niche/sectarian culture."

Great album and also the review! Jupiter and Teardrop is fantastic, it somewhat reminds me of Moonage Daydream by David Bowie!
