Chris Isaak Wicked Game
Voto:
"Wicked Game" is a great retro tearjerker that I karaoke every now and then. I remember it dating back to 1990, the soundtrack of the legendary "Cuore Selvaggio" (one of Lynch's best, or maybe even the best).
The Durutti Column LC
Voto:
"Sketch For Summer" from the debut is probably my all-time favorite instrumental track, giving me chills. Nevertheless, "LC" as an overall quality is definitely superior to "The Return of..." and if I had to recommend a Vini Reilly album, it would be this one.

But what wrong has Vini Reilly done to deserve this...
Adriano Celentano Prisencolinensinainciusol
Voto:
On the fact that the piece is a precursor to something, I'll refrain from commenting (didn't James Brown do similar things?), nonetheless, it's one of the most charming and engaging tracks by our national Adriano.
Siouxsie and the Banshees Hong Kong garden
Voto:
I am "too young" and I only got to appreciate Siouxsie live with the finale "The Rapture" (regardless of what rock dictionaries, websites, bloggers, and self-proclaimed experts might say, for me it's still a great album). "Hong Kong Garden," while not being very representative of the early material of S&TB, is a gem of raw pop. With its Eastern-flavored melody and crude sound, it manages to be catchy without being sappy, light without being flimsy, "fun" without being trivial. The dark/goth/horror punk seems light years away; here there's just New + somethingidrathernotthinkabout. It seems that the lyrics are a defense act for a Chinese takeaway targeted by skinheads (so yes, the swastikas were just for show). It's crazy though that among John Travolta and Boney M, such a track managed to enter the Top Ten.
Devo New Traditionalists
Voto:
I haven't listened to it in a while, but it's impossible to stay still when you hear "Jerkin Back 'N Front." I also agree on the quality of "Beautiful Word." From my memories, this is no less than "Freedom of Choice."
The Prodigy Smack My Bitch Up
Voto:
A valid single, although the vocal part could have been better, a bit lackluster.
The Prodigy Voodoo People
Voto:
My favorite Prodigy single, but I would also say it's among the best of all my 90s.
The Prodigy Firestarter
Voto:
A powerful and spot-on single, even though the "sung" turn of the Prodigy led them to decline rapidly, and by the end of "Fat of The Land," I was settling for the TDK tape recorded by my cousin.
The Prodigy Wind It Up (Rewound)
Voto:
"Experience," apart from a few episodes, I've never found to be that great of an album, just like the album version of "Wind it Up," which I don't know if the single version was different. I remember, however, that versions of tracks like "Everybody in The Place" changed radically: the video version was amazing, the album version sounded like the theme of Woody Woodpecker. "Weather Experience," on the other hand, I remember as one of their best tracks.
