The Cure Wild Mood Swings

Different opinions 1imaginaryboy, for me those groups didn't do anything important; there's more creativity in the worst album by the Cure than in all of their derivative and epigonic discography. "What's the story morning glory" then, I think was the hoax of the decade; if I had said these things ten years ago I would have been lynched, but now it seems to be a common opinion.

I borrowed it some time ago and I didn't like it. Sorry, but this feel-good music could be the background for those "rural" Sunday morning shows like "Mela verde" or "Sabato nel villaggio." Well-written review.

Great album, perhaps the best in their discography, but "Mask" was not far behind. I believe that "St. Vitus Dance" is one of the best tracks.

And to write a review about Mirko and the Beehive?
Franz Ferdinand You Could Have It So Much Better

If it was a jab at my message, you could have spared it, especially since I only responded to a request from the reviewer, and I didn't want to come off as pompous. And it's not my fault I know groups that don't appear on MTV and that are ignored by "Tv sorrisi e canzoni"....

I've only listened to their collection of very early material, which has convinced me only at times. If I come across this one, I will definitely give it a listen. Great review that creates curiosity and interest.

Good Alberto, if you really like Franz Ferdinand, then I recommend Josef K, another Scottish band but from the early new wave. Get their compilation "Young and Stupid" and you'll see that right after Franz they'll seem much less brilliant than they do to you now.

Thank you Lordhenry for the intervention (and for the vote) but it doesn't seem to me that this review has been treated so poorly; sometimes I've had it much worse (my review of "Travelogue" by Human League sits sadly in the archives without any comments after quite some time), sometimes "better" (lots of messages for my review of "The Fragile" by Nine Inch Nails but certainly not pleasant ones). I believe the disinterest is due to the group's lack of popularity; in fact, if you look at the review of "Fake French," there aren’t many comments there either.

Well, at least now I understand that you're consistent: if you give 5 to Franz Ferdinand, it's fair to give 3 to these. I've also realized that it will be hard for me to decide to buy an album reviewed by you.
