Adriano Pappalardo Oh! Era Ora
Voto:
I wouldn't be so sure they were the only ones playing with the computer back then; I focused more on the purely compositional aspect... P.S. the review is mine...
Björk Drawing Restraint 9
Voto:
I don't know the album in question, but I stand in solidarity with the reviewer: Bjork is way too overrated, really, well beyond any decency...
Robbie Williams Intensive Care
Voto:
he's the greatest showman around and makes honest pop, sometimes even very enjoyable... but I wouldn't have spent all these words on it
Peter Gabriel Shakin' The Tree - Sixteen Golden Greats
Voto:
Yes, but the question is: how many albums has Peter Gabriel made?... but above all, how many does Marialelena know?
Peter Gabriel Shakin' The Tree - Sixteen Golden Greats
Voto:
Dear Mariaelena, if you care about Peter, put in a little more effort and write more detailed reviews, at least once a week, because there’s not much left as it is. Bye.
Franco Battiato Gommalacca

I would have given a 4.5 to both the album and the review, let's say I averaged it out... the album is very beautiful, well-crafted, and with wonderful sounds.
Peter Gabriel III
Voto:
all my respect for Mariaelena, but these reviews seem more like an exercise recommended by a psychoanalyst.
Oasis Don't Believe The Truth

The Importance Of Being Idle is the best piece by Oasis in the last ten years.
Sergio Cammariere Sul Sentiero

It's clear that whenever I write a review, I also want to have some fun. And there's nothing better for having fun than responding to those who don't think like me. The thing is, in this case, I was already expecting some criticism, and very few, if any, praises for the album and the review. Because I know that Cammariere isn't what you would call an artist who can win over the average DeBaser user. Perhaps this is where some of my exaggeration comes from. On a personal level, if we can even speak of personal since we don't know each other and certainly no one knows me, I would consider this to be normal. On the other hand, if you publish any sequence of ASCII characters and allow for a vote and a judgment on the text in question, it's natural that you end up involving more than just the reviewed subject. Anyway, if by chance you'll review something I know, I'm ready to rip you apart........just kidding....bye.

Don't think I’m so naïve as not to have read your reviewer profile before debating with you; it’s clear that you listen to a lot of music, have original tastes, and have read some refined authors as well. Unfortunately, I have never had the resources to listen to many records; I imagine you’ve listened to at least twenty times more than those you’ve reviewed. I’m talking so aimlessly that I’ll even tell you that I only know about 60% of the artists of the albums you’ve reviewed by name, and I’m completely unaware of some of them. And that I’ve never listened to the EP "tempo perduto." So why engage in a debate with someone who is evidently more knowledgeable than I am? Because music criticism hasn't reached the levels of criticism in the major arts. To clarify, if Bonito Oliva slams a poorly made painting, that painting and that artist will face a terrible fate, and probably with good reason. If Fegiz tears apart De Gregori’s new album, that doesn’t mean that album won't be considered a masterpiece for decades to come. So, it’s obvious that you are the Bonito Oliva of this website, and I am just the occasional commentator. In music, the occasional commentator can contradict the critic because historically, music critics can be wrong. And it’s not certain that thirty years from now, the general opinion on Cammariere’s albums will be yours. I, partisanship aside, believe it will be mine. To posterity...
