Phil Collins No Jacket Required
Voto:
excuse me, I commented as if it were the new album
Phil Collins No Jacket Required
Voto:
But why make records like these? Who cares to listen to them? What more should Collins give to a soul piece that Gaye or Franklin haven't already given? The future will judge...
John Carpenter Grosso Guaio A Chinatown
Voto:
in its genre a cult
Kula Shaker Pilgrim's Progress
Voto:
the review is readable but it is too focused on the author
Amy Winehouse Frank
Voto:
because when you wrote it in 2004 it wasn't taken for granted to understand Winehouse's exceptional talent
Amy Winehouse Frank
Voto:
prophetic review
Franco Battiato Caffè De La Paix
Voto:
a review that is too baroque and contains many errors, the album should not be listed among Battiato's best.
Sting Symphonicities
Voto:
Sting is not the only one. There are other lost sheep, or perhaps better put, clever sheep, who stay in the music business by riding on past success, producing albums whose only value lies in the money they bring to the pockets of the artists and the record labels. Just look at the latest terrible albums by Peter Gabriel, Queen, etc...
Queen A Day At The Races
Voto:
Well, the opinions you express are respectable, but out of touch with reality and entrenched in a musical orthodoxy that has no reason to exist in 2010. The music of Queen, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Franco Battiato, etc., possesses all the qualities of dignity found in the best classical music. In fact, I am convinced that this is our "classical" music, and as such it will be remembered for centuries to come.
