The review is a bit weak, some spelling mistakes and a few inaccuracies, but overall it's shareable. I'm very attached to The Game; it's the first CD album by Queen that I bought, aside from the cassette of Innuendo when it came out. All things considered, I find it in line with their standard production of Queen, but nothing that comes close to the masterpieces Innuendo and A Night At The Opera.

Lucio Battisti E Già

Well, a record that could easily be the subject of a thesis has been dismissed by you with just a few, albeit well-considered, words. I’ll add a few notes that couldn’t be overlooked. In the album, the lyrics are attributed to Velezia, the alter ego of his wife, but experts are inclined to believe that Battisti's contribution was predominant. The rhythms, on the other hand, feature the input of Adriano Pappalardo, who a few months later introduced Pasquale Panella to Battisti, and together they worked on an album that I consider extraordinary, like Oh! era ora. Indeed, although it’s a turning point in Battisti's career, it has little in common with the subsequent albums, which lean towards hermeticism and a certain complication even in the structure of the melodies; here, instead, simplicity reigns.

"Here comes 'Vita mia': in my opinion, it’s the most beautiful song on this CD, second only to 'Boys in the night'..." but how can someone write a sentence like that?

I would have preferred not to respond because, objectively, the level is very low, but I want to make a few points at least for those who are more receptive. Elvis Presley never composed half a note; can anyone deny that he was an exceptional innovator? Celentano, who definitely was the author of great songs, was among the first in the 50s and 60s to guide Italian pop music towards the trends that were coming straight from the United States. You may like it or not, but that is a fact, and it represented a groundbreaking phenomenon for our country. From the perspective of lyrics, and here I connect to various Dylan & Co, it is clearly a stretch to say that Celentano reached the poetic heights of some of these, of course, but try listening to tracks like Svalutation, Mondo In Mi7, or L'Artigiano and honestly tell me if you would have been surprised if they had been released in 2012 instead of over 30 years ago. The message I would like to send to the two or three who seem most reasonable to me is that if we throw Celentano down the drain, we are throwing our history down the drain, and with it, ourselves as well. Regards.

If we were in a serious country, we would hardly read foolish comments like those on this page, where one of the greatest Italian singers of all time is poorly criticized. In a country like the United States, for example, the greats of music like Dylan, Cash, and Young are respected and their art is not questioned by anyone. Italians are a small-minded people because they have a provincial mentality, they can't contextualize, they are emotional and tend to confuse things. Celentano is a unique character and often his statements are rather inappropriate and questionable, but I repeat, only in this country are there people who can challenge one of the few true innovators in music that Italy has had.

Good review, the film has been underrated due to the controversial director... if it had been Spielberg, we would be talking about a celebrated masterpiece.
