Well... Pezzali remains a mystery, it’s truly incredible that such an (in every sense) ordinary character has managed to be at the peak for a good part of the last twenty years. The first two albums by 883, however, were enjoyable for their time, but then came the usual self-imitating decline. This is a common affliction for many male singers born around the transition from the eighties to the nineties (Ligabue, Grignani, Antonacci, Ramazzotti, etc...).

And here I am evaluating this Battiato album positively as well. 10 stratagems and at least 6 pearls: Tra sesso e castità, Fortezza Bastiani, Odore di polvere da sparo, Conforto alla vita, 23 coppie di cromosomi, and La porta dello spavento supremo.

terrible review and, in my opinion, a rather unsuccessful album, so much so that Battiato tried again two more times. It was in May where it could have been spared. Neapolitan can only be interpreted by those born in Campania and neighboring regions.
