Franco Battiato Joe Patti's Experimental Group
Voto:
Review, I would say, concise. I will buy the album, just like I do for all the new Battiato albums since I've had cash on hand.
Jack White Lazaretto

I can't make myself like him, even though I acknowledge that he's good.
Alice Alice canta Battiato
Voto:
Not all the tracks are covers; at least six songs were written by Battiato for Alice. Chanson egocentruique and i treni di tozeur, on the other hand, were born as true duets. I disagree with the interpretation and arrangement of Prospettiva Nevski, which I believe lack the intensity of the original version. Another critique: Alice, in her interpretation of songs not written with her in mind, tends to insist a bit too much on her more austere tones, which penalizes her beautiful voice.
John Frusciante Curtains

Why write a review with such a confiding tone? Frusciante has style, but let's forget about comparisons with Hendrix, who is technically from another planet.

I don't understand the polemical tone of the review.
Franco Battiato Introspettiva
Voto:
One must approach Battiato with reverence and precision: the first is not lacking, the second is missing.
U2 No Line On The Horizon
Voto:
a review that would have been useless even the day before the album's release
Damon Albarn Everyday Robots
Voto:
Yes, it could be that I'm influenced by my perception of Albarn... then there are the missing references, because it's the first solo album... in this case, I've made my utmost effort to abstract: however, the more I listen to the album, the more I simultaneously appreciate it while noticing this "excess" of effort. Obviously, being mistaken is one of the hypotheses on the table :-).
Coldplay Ghost Stories
Voto:
The singles are very beautiful, I will definitely buy the album... with all the contradictions, Coldplay with their (excellent) mainstream music are already part of history, while hundreds of alternative bands, praised by critics, will forever struggle in anonymity.
